Thor, the Thunderer

Thor the Thunder God from Norse Mythology. You all know him, & Marvel films have brought his name even further to the front. But this one is essentially the Myth version. The blonde in his arms is the Lady Sif, his wife. I won't go into details about him, for everyone knows him.
This image was another one where I was testing myself, this time with the lightning, the lighting and how the darkness was going to permeate around them, & I've got to say, it was a lot of fun.

& in case you're wondering this idea all came about from an afternoon in the Old Town part of my hometown, so thank you for the welcoming feeling that day.
